Environmental Policy

Jones Oil is committed to leading the industry in minimising the impact of our activities on the environment. It is the policy of Jones Oil to conduct our business in a manner that is compatible with the balanced environmental and economic needs of the communities in which we operate.  The Company will encourage concern and respect for the environment, emphasise every employee’s responsibility in environmental performance and ensure appropriate operating practices and training.

The key points of our strategy to achieve this are:

• Minimise waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.
• Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst its customers and suppliers.
• Source and promote a product range to minimise the environmental impact of both production and distribution.
• Measure our impact on the environment and set targets for ongoing improvement.
• Comply with all relevant environmental legislation.
• Implement a training programme for staff to raise awareness of environmental issues and enlist their support in improving the Company’s performance.
• Encourage the adoption of similar principles by our suppliers.

Jones Oil will review this Environmental Policy on an annual basis or when changes arise which may affect the existing policy.
